Knowledge, ideas and creativity need room to grow and not to be stunted by strict rules and rigid hierarchies. That’s why we don’t have them at respondi. We work in a friendly, informal atmosphere and our offices are home to a potpourri of nationalities.
The doors to our offices are always open: we’d rather get up and go and talk to one another than spend ages writing a long email. Our offices are often filled with the chatter of several different languages at once. Whilst the CSO and the intern are hatching out new ideas in one room, in the other, one of the project managers will be chuckling at a video on youtube with one of our students and calling the CEO over to come and take a look!
The field in which we work is varied, multicultural, global, changing, inspiring, different every day and surprising – the Internet. Our target group is the millions of people who pay the Internet a visit 24/7 and create new content, rewrite it and change it in many different ways.
What we enjoy is the sense of curiosity, the fun of the challenge, the willingness to make difficulties into solutions and above all: giving our best as a team.
We don’t keep our findings close to our chests – we’re happy to share what we know. We’re glad when our knowledge sparks off ideas in others and helps them to become a little better at their jobs every day. In short: we learn from one another.
This creates a working environment in which everyone has the chance to develop, participate and to grow together. This is reflected in our results: professional, creative, innovative – and successful.
PS: Just how we celebrate our successes, why our CEO takes up the chase in running shoes, why our summer parties are legendary, why our meetings would give Jamie Oliver a run for his money, and why we regularly laugh so much that it hurts – well these things will have to remain our trade secrets!
