On the 15th of March, the board members of the German Society for Online Research (DGOF) confirmed our CEO Dr. Otto Hellwig as the Chairman of their organisation.
The members of the board vote every two years and PD Dr. Meinald Thielsch (University of Munster), Alexandra Wachenfeld-Schell (forsa GmbH) and Dr. Cathleen Stützer (University of Mainz) were also re-appointed to the board. The DGOF also greeted Dr. Bella Struminskaya (University of Utrecht) and Prof. Dr. Florian Keusch (University of Mannheim) as new board members. Oliver Tabino (Q | Agentur für Forschung GmbH) did not stand for election again and leaves the DGOF after four years as a DGOF board member.
Otto Hellwig on the 2017 board elections: „Firstly, I would like to thank Oliver Tabino for his great work and commitment over the last few years. Through his years of experience as a market researcher, entrepreneur and Social Media expert, as well as his positive yet critical spirit, he significantly contributed to DGOF`s work and set important milestones for the future of the association. Therefore, we thank him and wish him all the best for the future. At the same time, I am looking forward to working with the newly elected board and am sure the DGOF, in this constellation, will continue along its successful chartered course.“
Congratulations to all the re-appointed and newly elected members of the board!
