This year again, we organized our mingle fundraising campaign to support children in need. Instead of redeeming their mingle points for vouchers or bank transfer, numerous panelists chose to donate them for a good cause. In UK, France and Germany, more than 8 300 euros have been collected.

In the United Kingdom, we cooperate with Dreams Come True, a charity organization fulfilling the heart’s desire of seriously ill children. Our British panelists fulfilled the wish of Katie who is suffering from thyroid cancer and dreamed of spending some time with penguins.

In Germany and France, our panelists support the work of Plan International, a children’s relief organization defending the rights of children, especially by sponsoring children in the long run across Africa, Asia and Latin America. In Germany, our panelists helped with more than 4 550 euros to provide working children in Tanzania with school materials. Our French panelists sponsored children in Benin and hence helped to improve their chances of a better future.

We informed our panelists via our newsletter, the mingle-website and on our Facebook-Fanpage about the fundraising campaign. On average, male panelists donate higher amounts than female ones and panelists older than 45 have been the most generous. Moreover, panelists who have been members of mingle longer were especially generous.
