Busy times ahead in September – we have a bunch of events on our agenda!
Our first event takes place online: On 2nd September, our MD Jennifer Roberton hosts a webinar explaining “How do (un)happy people behave online?” Based on our whitepaper “The Appiness Project”, which has been nominated for the ESOMAR Best Paper Award, Jennifer will present some interesting insights! Subsequently, we will also join this year’s ESOMAR Congress in Edinburgh (8th– 11th September, Edinburgh International Conference Center) and Jennifer, together with Matt Browne (Global Progress) will present their research on “Social Media and the Disruption of Democracy”. Needless to say we are pleased as punch about the announcement of the winners of the Best Paper Award – maybe “The Appiness Project” will win?
We also don’t want to miss the online marketing event DMEXCO, which comes to Cologne on 11th and 12th September. A bunch of workshops, presentations and hopefully interesting encounters are waiting for us! On the evening of the second DMEXCO day, we will join the Research Plus event in Cologne’s “Wohngemeinschaft” which we are also sponsoring. As usual for the Research Plus event series, this great opportunity for meeting our colleagues will be accompanied by three presentations on different topics. A couple of days later, on 16th September, the next Research Plus takes already place – this time in Taproom Jungbusch in Mannheim.
During the second half of the month, London is the place to be! On 18th September, from 6pm on, we’ll cross our fingers for our UK-team, which joins the ASC/MRS Quiz Night in The Sir Christopher Hatton. Still in London, on 26th September, it’s time for the MRS Operations Awards, starting at 7pm in The Curtain Hotel. We’re excited about the announcement of the winners!
