There a couple of exciting events lined up in March!
The first Spring 2019 event is GOR, which will take place from 6-8 March in the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. As a jury member and sponsor of the Best Practice Award we are looking forward to finding out the winners! GOR always puts on a jam-packed conference program; we will be there with three presentations and one workshop! On Wednesday, 6th March, Denis Bonnay, our Director Data & Analytics, will hold a workshop on “Predicting Online Behaviour”. The next day on Thursday, 7th March, our Director Business Development Germany, Jonathan Heinemann, will present the topic “Tracking Political Behaviour & Preferences Using Digital Trace Data” in collaboration with University of Mannheim, RTI International and Sinus-Institut. On the final day of the GOR, our Chief Innovation Officer, François Erner, will use his presentation “The Appiness Project” to illustrate how (un)happy people behave online. On Friday afternoon at 3.30pm, François and Jonathan will answer the question “Is Influencer marketing overpromising?”, rounding up our participation.
At the same time as GOR, this year’s Insight Show will throw open its doors between the 6-7 March in Olympia London. The event is a real highlight in our industry and we wouldn’t want to miss it! Less than a week later, it will be time for the annual MRS conference Impact 2019 from 12-13 March at Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. It’s going to be a busy month for our UK Managing Director UK, Jennifer Roberton. ASC is organizing a “Room 101” event; and Jenni will be on the jury. Which items from the market research industry should be put in room 101? It will be interesting which market research ideas/items are considered the biggest peeves and get banished to the infamous room 101. The event starts at 6:15pm at the Sekforde London.
