It’s the place to be for any marketeer! The event is a mix of peers, exchanging views on current trends and innovations in digital marketing.
From talks by small start-ups to seminars by corporate giants, there was something for everyone. The new DMEXCO app provided a handy paperless guide to help navigate the 40,000 visitors, 1,000 exhibitors and 600 speakers! Networking was made even easier with unique QR codes for connecting!
This year’s theme was “trust in you”. In times of Artificial Intelligence, automatization, digitalisation and ever growing personalised advertising, the diminishing trust of people in the digital world is being looked at from different perspectives. Data security, GDPR and its extensive consequences are still high on the agenda. In the digital industry, trust has never been of such high importance as it is today.
So, I return to my desk reinvigorated, with many ideas and trends I’d like to implement and am already looking forward to DMEXCO 2020.
