This annual event is being held for the third consecutive year, however the Esomar 3D is not being held in autumn, as usual, but between the 23rd and 25th of June.

The second dimension which was, in the past, described as Social Media Research, has evolved into Social Media Research and Social Media Trends to become today’s Social Media Research and Gamification. This proves that ESOMAR lives up to its reputation of being up-to-date and brings changes in a targeted way according to the latest trends. It chooses the experts who are closest to the next evolutions.
Only Mobile Research has remained on the same level of development for the past three years. Maybe this reflects the stagnation caused by the limits of a technology which boasts many merits but whose methodologies remain blurred, especially in quantitative research. This field is also the smallest dimension of the conference; only 90 minutes will be dedicated to this theme, compared to three or four hours for the other two.
