In an interview with planung&analyse, our CEO Otto Hellwig, who was re-elected chairman of the DGOF (German Society for Online Research) this year, talked about plans for this year’s General Online Research, short GOR, and gives an outlook on the future of the event.
With the first virtual conference of the market research industry in Germany, GOR 20 entered new territory. The conclusion: a technically smooth course of events, with the usual exciting content, but “networking and personal encounters were neglected”, according to Otto Hellwig. This is something the organising DGOF is working on, to give the GOR 21 that “personal and familiar touch”. Even though a virtual GOR is best suited to both the topic and the target group, and proved to attract a more international audience, a face-to-face event in Berlin is planned for GOR 22. There, once again, we can look forward to the lively and insightful personal exchanges, the legendary party, with the possibility to follow the lectures online and live.
